It’s been said that students can do no better than the assignments and assessments they’re given. If you’re teaching a large class, you’ve probably asked yourself questions that relate to this idea:  How do I really know what my students are learning?  How am I creating opportunities for students to engage in, demonstrate, and communicate critical thinking?  Join the Faculty Innovation Center and Undergraduate Studies as we consider and explore some practical approaches to these questions in a door-opening workshop on teaching large classes.  Why door-opening?  With this workshop, we hope to open the door to learning about and exploring your interests, needs, and questions about teaching large classes. Subsequent FIC workshop topics in the spring semester will be based on your input.

Please join us for Opening Doors to Teaching Large Classes. RSVP by Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 5:00pm to let us know you will attend. Refreshments will be served!
