This summer, the Faculty Innovation Center, Graduate School, University Career Services, and the University Writing Center are co-sponsoring an academic job preparation series for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. The Curriculum Vitae (CV) Polishing Session is the fourth session in the summer series. In this workshop, you will learn the purpose of the CV, customary formats and necessary content, and tips for avoiding common mistakes and missteps to create the best first impression for search committees. Participants will leave this session with clearly identified content to include and a concrete outline of their CVs. Graduate Writing Consultants will be on hand to provide individualized feedback throughout the session.
