For students to fully engage in experiential learning they have to have a certain amount of autonomy. Some students thrive on this while others find it very challenging. How much autonomy do we give students on a project and what kind of structures can we give them to help them through the process? This discussion session will pose these questions and discuss strategies and frameworks that help them to succeed.

A collaboration of the Faculty Innovation Center and the Experiential Learning Initiative, this is a series of workshops that will help you develop activities to include the hallmarks of experiential learning in your courses. Feel free to participate in some or all sessions that interest you.  A light lunch will be included.

Please RSVP to attend this session or any in the series.

Additional sessions will take place on Sept. 27 (Reflection) and Nov. 15 (Setbacks).
