Setbacks are a normal and important part of experiential learning, however they are often seen as failures by students. How can we mentor students through the process of revising and re-routing their research and thinking to find success even when they hit the proverbial brick wall? This discussion session will identify some of the common setbacks that students will encounter and discuss strategies to help them succeed.

A collaboration of the Faculty Innovation Center and the Experiential Learning Initiative, this is a series of workshops that will help you develop activities to include the hallmarks of experiential learning in your courses. Feel free to participate in some or all sessions that interest you.  A light lunch will be included.

Please RSVP to attend this session or any in the series.

Additional sessions will take place on Sept. 27 (Reflection) and Oct. 25 (Autonomy).
