CL Workshop Series: Peer Sharing

When asking students to work collaboratively together we often presume they have the skills to do so. This series of four workshops will discuss how to help students experience and develop skills that enable them to work together productively in pairs, groups, and teams.

The first workshop focuses on interactions that allow students to voice their thoughts, connections, or opinions to widen their conceptual views and solidify their arguments with peers. We will share activities that allow the students to practice and develop skills that will be needed for more formal collaboration later.
