This will be a combined session with colleagues joining remotely from the University of Buffalo.

Learning in teams can be powerful when it’s done well, but can be frustrating and even counterproductive when left to chance.

In the first session of this Team-Based Learning workshop series, we focused on the Readiness Assurance Process and answered the question, "How can you make sure students are prepared and motivated to engage their peers when they come to class?"

The second session will provide a short recap of the first session and then explore effective Application Activities.

Participants will experience the recommended structure for TBL Application Activities and leave with a reliable recipe for in-class activities that require teams to apply their foundational knowledge to more complex problems.

Please RSVP by Friday, November 3 at 8:00am. Contact Chad Fulton if you have any questions.
