Through teaching, you have developed multiple skills that are applicable to careers beyond academia: from leadership and management to communication and public speaking. In this workshop, you will reflect upon and evaluate your skills and experiences, learn how to analyze job listings, tailor your resumes, and communicate the transferrable nature of your teaching skills to an employer.

To learn more and self-enroll in the Canvas site, visit http://bit.ly/SpringTPS. Once you have joined the Canvas course, you can register for a session using the Canvas Calendar function. If a session is full, it will not appear on your calendar.

Participants who complete multiple sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion that acts as a credential demonstrating your investment in professional development to future employers.  Complete 3 sessions and upload a qualifying reflection for a Teaching Preparation Certificate; complete 7 sessions and submit a qualifying Teaching Statement for an Advanced Teaching Preparation Certificate. Please feel free to contact Jendayi Dillard at jendayi.dillard@austin.utexas.edu with further questions.  We look forward to working with you!
