  • How can my students develop as independent learners?
  • What kinds of support do my students need to be successful in an online environment?
  • Where can I find tools for scaffolding learning strategies into my course?

Join Sanger Learning Center director Paige Schilt in a discussion about how you and your students can utilize the Sanger Learning Center (SLC) as a resource. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the SLC’s offerings throughout the academic year, see some of the ways that faculty can employ the Center’s resources in their courses, and hear from students about their experiences building independent learning skills by using SLC programs and services.

The New Faculty Series is designed for new UT instructors, builds on the topics discussed in the New Faculty Symposium, and features topics selected by the new faculty in their Symposium feedback. While the programming is designed for our newest faculty members, all instructors are welcome to attend this event.
