Embracing Discomfort: Proactive Strategies for Unexpected Classroom Moments

Event Status
Scheduled

Unexpected moments in your class can sometimes lead to tension, conflict, controversy, or even harm for your students, and that is especially true in the new world of digital learning. Having an action plan for how to respond when these uncomfortable moments arise is important, as research shows that doing nothing can lead to further harm. Come explore and practice evidence-based teaching strategies and communicative tools for creating a positive learning climate for your students.
