September 2019

Labor Day is behind us so we're off and running. There are many opportunities to explore new avenues in teaching and learning. Find one on our calendar that works for you!

We were honored to work with the Provost's Teaching Fellows and several campus units to welcome over 100 colleagues at New Faculty Symposium 2019 on Aug 21-22. See all the photos here. What an energizing way to start the new academic year!
Speaking of the new year, the FIC Calendar and programming flyer are ready for you to explore and RSVP

What is an ePortfolio?

The first workshop (Sept 17) and Think Tank (Sept 24) cover the topic of ePortfolios. These digital collections document learning and help students navigate professional pathways. See our flyer for more about this series.

Did you see the News?

Dr. Chand John contributed a FIC News piece about increasing inclusivity in Computer Science. Be sure to check out the comic and watch the short, embedded videos!
