Sandy Leeds is an Alumni Fellow and has previously served on the PTF Steering Committee. He has also worked on Eyes on Teaching and the New Faculty Symposium and currently serves as the Home Fellow for McCombs.
Sandy's project attempted to find a mechanism to encourage McCombs' students to read and discuss academic research outside of the classroom. He has also participated in sponsoring and mentoring the projects of some of the McCombs' Teaching Fellows that have been selected in recent years.
At McCombs, Sandy teaches both graduate and undergraduate students. He's interested in trying to excite students about the combination of theory and practice, as well as trying to make The University of Texas feel like a smaller school for the individual student.
