New Faculty Symposium 2018


The members of the UT Austin Administration, the Provost’s Teaching Fellows, and the Faculty Innovation Center will host the 38th Annual New Faculty Symposium August 21-22, 2018. The purpose of the symposium will be to share the university’s integrated approach to research, teaching, and service shaped by our culture of innovation and excellence. We look forward to welcoming you into our community of teacher-scholars and the greater Longhorn family.

    • Sessions Include:
      • Registration and Breakfast 
      • Welcome from President Fenves 
      • Panel: Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 
      • Discussions with Undergraduate and Graduate Students 
      • Lunch at the Blanton Museum of Art or UT Athletics
      • Promotion & Tenure Breakout Sessions 
  • President's Reception 4:00pm - 6:00pm in President's Office
